Today, Hyatt Hotels Corporation emphasized the anticipated growth trajectory for Hyatt in 2024 and beyond, spanning across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East (EAME). This positive outlook is supported by a record-breaking year of deal signings in 2023, showcasing Hyatt’s commitment to becoming the preferred brand for guests, customers, and owners. The company has achieved a remarkable pipeline of 127,000 rooms globally as of the end of 2023, with key markets such as Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, Portugal, and Greece contributing significantly. This pipeline accounts for almost 40% of the existing rooms within the Hyatt portfolio.

Hyatt’s strategic brand expansion includes upcoming projects such as AluaSoul Costa Adeje, an Inclusive Collection resort in Tenerife, Spain, and Palace de Muro, a Destination by Hyatt property in Alcúdia, Mallorca, scheduled to open by the end of 2024. These ventures, under Stoneweg’s ownership, build upon another year of remarkable brand growth for Hyatt in the region.

Javier Águila, group president EAME, Hyatt, expressed satisfaction with the substantial growth achieved in 2023 and highlighted the company’s commitment to reinforcing its position as the preferred hospitality brand in the region. Miguel Casas, Managing Director of Stoneweg Hospitality, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the dedication to growth and excellence in hotel experiences through collaborations with Hyatt.

The upcoming openings include AluaSoul Costa Adeje, a 226-room resort in Tenerife, and Palace de Muro, a 184-room resort in Alcudia Bay, Mallorca. Both properties are undergoing rebranding as part of a multi-property collaboration with Stoneweg.

Hyatt’s global head of Hyatt Inclusive Collection growth, Javier Coll, noted the increasing popularity of the all-inclusive segment and highlighted the collection’s leadership in this space. The anticipated 2024 openings in Spain, Greece, and Portugal align with Hyatt’s commitment to intentional brand growth in markets important to guests, customers, and owners.

In 2024, Hyatt’s EAME pipeline includes over 70 properties across its distinct brand collections. The Timeless Collection focuses on delivering a consistently elevated experience, with significant expansion marked by additions to the Park Hyatt brand. The Boundless Collection offers best-in-class offerings, featuring four Thompson Hotels properties. The Inclusive Collection, known for luxury all-inclusive resorts, is set to expand with notable entries, including Dreams Madeira Resort, Spa & Marina, and Zoëtry Halkidiki Resort & Spa.
