Ian Richardson has been appointed General Manager of 11 Cadogan Gardens, the luxury boutique property under Iconic Luxury Hotels situated in the heart of Chelsea, London. The announcement was officially made the Iconic Luxury Hotels brand.
Richardson comes with years of extensive experience which he acquired after joining the Jumeirah Group and working across various properties within the portfolio. He initially worked in Wellness and Revenue Management field early in his career with Jumeirah. It was around 2011 when he was appointed General Manager of Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel.
He also served as Interim General Manager at Grosvenor House Suites by Jumeirah from 2014 to 2015. He was also involved in the opening of the anticipated Jumeirah Hotel Nanjing, the brand’s flagship property in Asia in 2018. Around the year 2019, he returned to London and was as General Manager at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower. As a part of his role he overlooked the hotel’s extensive renovation which commenced in September last year.
Richardson is also a keen cyclist and active supporter of the local homeless charity GlassDoor. He has also been associated with The Hurlingham Club in Fulham, and the Champneys Health Clubs in Picadilly and Moorgate and has valuable experience of working in the wellness space. With his experience and knowledge, he will certainly contribute in taking Cadogan Gardens to bigger and better heights.
