From November 28 to 30, the IBTM World 2023 Congress has been held in Barcelona, under the motto “Inspiring events for better business results”.
The IBTM World 2023 edition has been the biggest edition yet, with a record-breaking number of exhibitors set to showcase their brands and destinations. Hotels, tour operators, tourism offices, convention and events groups or governmental representatives from around the world are some of the main exhibitors.
The event features a prominent group of Media Partners, among which is Travel and Tour World, as one and only digital B2B travel-trade magazine and news portal dedicated to travel, tourism, airlines, cruise, technology and the hospitality industry.
It has also had the participation of various leading associations in the sector, to deliver the best industry insight on a global scale through valuable information, education and networking, such as ICCA, AIPC, PCMA, MPI, Site, The Iceberg, IAPCO, Skål International, European Cities Marketing, Events Industry Council and International Association of Exhibitions and Events.
With respect to partners and sponsors, it has had host event partners such as Barcelona Turisme convention Bureau, Diputació de Barcelona, Ajuntament de Barcelona, Gremi d’Hotels de Barcelona, Catalubnta Convebtion Bureau, Ovation Spain and BCD meetings and events. This year the event is able to look back on 12 months of data and empirical evidence that not only gives us the answers to this question but begins to unearth some robust predictions on the future direction of our industry.
