IBTM World 2023: Experience the energy of Poland’s dynamic MICE sector in Barcelona

Celebrating our presence at the IBTM World Trade Show in Barcelona, sixteen esteemed partners from the Polish Tourism Organisation – Poland Convention Bureau will be showcasing their diverse offerings. This dynamic group comprises representatives from convention bureaux, Professional Congress Organizers, Incentive Travel Companies, DMCs, airlines, and congress and exhibition venues.

In 2023, we experienced an unprecedented surge in applications for the National Polish stand, with 26 partners expressing eagerness to participate. Initially, due to space constraints, only half of them could be accommodated. However, employing innovative solutions allowed us to successfully expand our capacity.

We are delighted to announce that these 16 partners will be featured at the IBTM World Trade Show in Barcelona. They encompass convention bureaux, cities, and regions, Professional Congress Organizers, Incentive Travel Companies, DMCs, an airline, and congress venues.

Join us in welcoming this year’s distinguished partners at the Polish National Stand G100 at Fira Barcelona!

The lineup includes:

• 4 DMCs: Travel Projekt DMC Poland, Jan Pol DMC, DMC Poland, Mazurkas DMC Poland
• 3 venues: ICE Krakow Congress Centre, G2 Arena – The Congress and Exhibition Center in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, Poznan Congress Centre
• 8 convention bureaux: Warsaw Convention Bureau, Mazovia Convention Bureau, Convention Bureau – Wrocław, Kraków Convention Bureau, Gdańsk Convention Bureau, Poznań Convention Bureau, Silesia Convention Bureau, Świętokrzyskie Convention Bureau
• LOT Polish Airlines

Additionally, the Lublin Conference Center and Lublin Convention Bureau (Lublin Regional Tourist Organization) will join the Polish representation and accompany us on a special mission on Wednesday.

This year, under the campaign slogan “POLAND. More than you expected,” marketing activities at the Polish National Stand in Barcelona aim to exceed expectations. Explore more details on the dedicated website meetings.poland.travel.

Moreover, the Polish Tourism Organisation is set to surprise attendees with sensory marketing activities. Musical Mornings with Basia Giewont and her band are scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (from 9:00 to 10:00 am), featuring a rendition of the song “Let’s Talk Business” by Brian Allan in a new arrangement, available on a specially prepared Spotify Playlist of the Polish artist.

Don’t miss the Regional Delicacies Happy Hour event on Wednesday, where Polish eventprofs invite you to indulge in a diverse array of delicacies representing various Polish regions. Explore delights such as Bean honey from Ulik Apiary Farm in Roztocze, Półtorak Lubelski mead from Apis, Rose jam from Końskowola, regional wine “Winnica Nad Jarem,” cheeses from Sandomierz, Miodula Staropolska from the Beskid Mountains, and Cieszyn Silesia’s most appreciated sweets, Kopalnioki.
