Today, Adora Cruises revealed its collaboration with the National Folk Literature and Art Development Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, along with Professor Zhang Tiantong and her team from the China Conservatory of Music. Together, they will inaugurate the maiden voyage of the domestically crafted Adora Magic City, marking a significant milestone in the realm of maritime cultural tourism. This pioneering voyage, themed around folk songs, promises an immersive journey into the rich tapestry of traditional Chinese music.

Today, Adora Cruises revealed its collaboration with the National Folk Literature and Art Development Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, along with Professor Zhang Tiantong and her team from the China Conservatory of Music. Together, they will inaugurate the maiden voyage of the domestically crafted Adora Magic City, marking a significant milestone in the realm of maritime cultural tourism. This pioneering voyage, themed around folk songs, promises an immersive journey into the rich tapestry of traditional Chinese music.

Departing from Shanghai on March 31, the Adora Magic City will host a plethora of engaging activities aboard the vessel, curated under the banner of folk culture. From cultural symposiums to live performances and hands-on experiences like the “Learning to Sing the Same Folk Song” workshop, guests will be treated to a vibrant showcase of Chinese folk music’s contemporary relevance. Renowned artists will provide live insights into the historical and cultural contexts of folk songs, while Professor Zhang Tiantong and her ensemble will captivate audiences with their mesmerizing performances. Through interactive sessions, guests will delve deep into the essence of folk songs—an invaluable intangible cultural heritage reflecting the collective wisdom of generations.

Her profound insights and dedication to national music culture render her an indispensable partner in shaping the narrative of this folk song-themed voyage aboard the Adora Magic City.
