IHG is unveiling the “IHG Greater China 700 Club,” showcasing a selection of new and exciting hotels across various brands. As trailblazers in entering the Greater China market, IHG made its debut in 1975 with the opening of the first hotel—Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong, solidifying its position as a market leader. Over the past 49 years, IHG has remained dedicated to its promise, progressively advancing and increasing investments in Greater China. Notably, after reaching the 100-hotel milestone in 2008, IHG embarked on an ambitious expansion. In 2022, IHG celebrated the 600-hotel milestone in Greater China. Within just a year and a half, an additional 100 hotels were introduced.
