IHG Hotels & Resorts elevates voco’s expansion: unveils new signing in Gosford

IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) is thrilled to declare the formal agreement for the establishment of the seventh voco in Australasia, a collaboration with the prominent Sydney developer, ALAND. This partnership aims to unveil voco Gosford in regional New South Wales in early 2025.

Situated within the Archibald by ALAND, a distinguished mixed-use development precinct offering captivating views of Brisbane Water, voco Gosford will be a novel addition to the region. Named after Archibald Acheson, the second Earl of Gosford, this highly anticipated development spans 5,656 square meters and encompasses 320 residential apartments, a 130-room lifestyle hotel, a selection of remarkable hospitality venues, and a podium outdoor pool featuring a swim-up bar.

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the property will significantly enhance the Central Coast’s hospitality landscape, presenting a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The design-centric hotel will showcase guest rooms ranging up to 41 square meters and executive suites extending up to 54 square meters.

Guests at voco Gosford will relish panoramic views of the picturesque Central Coast. The extensive hospitality offerings include a street-level pub and pizzeria, a rooftop sky bar and lounge on level 28, a signature restaurant led by celebrity chef Dany Karam (formerly of the award-winning restaurant Black Bar and Grill in Pyrmont), a wellness center, and a total of 610 square meters in conference and events facilities.

Voco hotels are synonymous with personalized service and luxurious amenities, blending indulgence with comfort. The name “voco,” derived from the Latin word meaning ‘to invite,’ encapsulates the brand’s ethos of providing a welcoming, unpretentious, and charming experience. Guests can anticipate a warm reception, seamless check-in, arrival gifts, vibrant social spaces, and guest rooms adorned with thoughtful comforts, including plush bedding, upscale bathroom amenities, and high-speed Wi-Fi.

The introduction of voco Gosford marks IHG’s ongoing expansion into regional Australia, representing the brand’s second venture into regional New South Wales. Nestled in the heart of Gosford, within an hour’s drive from Sydney’s CBD, the hotel offers convenient access to Gosford’s scenic waterfront, Industree Group Stadium for sports and entertainment, and the state-of-the-art campus of the University of Newcastle.
