In 2 days, 30,000 vehicles entered in Shimla

In Shimla, HP, an enormous 30,000 vehicles entered in just two days, as per the data produced by the city police has recently showed the same. As per ANI, rising temperatures in the plains have compelled people to explore the hills to look for a safe haven in cooler climates. In the weekend, the police have said that the number would likely enhance by 4,000 to 5,000. The hotels in Shimla, as per ANI, are running at full capacity. It added that tourists coming to the city are mostly from states like Punjab and Haryana.

Data from the Tourism Department of Himachal Pradesh disclosed that in 2019, the tourist numbers increased by 5% to 1, 72, 00,000, including almost 4, 00,000 internationals. Though, it dropped as the COVID-19 started in 2020.
