In Bangkok tourism roadshow, Odisha gets attention

Odisha Tourism is set leverage direct connectivity of flight services with Thailand as the state in Bangkok only recently conducted its second leg of international tourism promotional campaign with grandeur.

The Tourism Roadshow was hosted together with FICCI, have seen over 130 Thai tour operators networking with industry stakeholders of Odisha, on Wednesday, an official press release said about the same.

After the interactive B2B and B2G sessions that was organized between the stakeholders of Odisha and Thailand, Sachin Ramchandra Jadhav, Director Tourism, gave a presentation on the initiatives of Odisha Tourism in merging the rich culture, history and natural heritage with sustainable products of tourism that have been pulling visitors from countries worldwide.

While emphasizing the ancient maritime connection of Odisha with Thailand, he highlighted various tourism products that the Indian state has to offer to draw Thai tourists.

He said that on direct flight connectivity between Bangkok and Bhubaneswar, he will welcome the stakeholders of tourism in Thailand to discover Odisha in the best way possible, and that their stakeholders from Odisha to unravel the best of Thailand. He said that he is quite sure that experience will twist into brand ambassadors of India and Thailand and help in boosting the responsibility of tourism in supporting the economy.
