In addition to streamlining bookings and travel for customers, this collaboration seeks to boost the profile of both nations as prime tourism destinations.
The MoU also opens the door for Air New Zealand and Air India to explore the possibility of launching a direct flight service between India and New Zealand by 2028, pending aircraft availability and the necessary regulatory approvals.
