Passengers will enjoy the stunning views as the boat travels along the river, arriving in Srisailam by 3:00 pm. The return trip will begin the next morning, again departing from Srisailam at 9:00 am and reaching Nagarjuna Sagar by 3:00 pm. Each boat can accommodate up to 100 passengers, ensuring that every traveler has a safe and comfortable ride.

Ticket prices for the boat service have been finalized for the season. A one-way ticket will cost Rs 2,000 for adults and Rs 1,600 for children aged 5 to 10 years. For those opting for a round-trip journey, the fare will be Rs 3,250 for adults and Rs 2,600 for children. These ticket prices cover a six-hour scenic cruise experience each way, allowing passengers to take in the natural beauty of the river and its surroundings.

The TSTDC successfully operated 10 boat trips last year, and with improved water levels in the Krishna River this season, the number of trips is expected to increase. The relaunch of the boat service has generated a lot of excitement, particularly among devotees, as the boat journey provides a peaceful and spiritual way to reach the famous Srisailam temple.

For those planning to visit the temple, the Andhra Pradesh Tourism authorities have made arrangements to ensure a comfortable stay. Several tourism hotels in the area will be available for visitors, providing convenient lodging options near the temple. In addition, temple authorities have confirmed that visitors traveling by the official boat service will receive priority darshan at the Srisailam temple, ensuring they can easily worship Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Brahmarambha Devi.

This initiative aligns with the state’s efforts to boost tourism in the region and provide visitors with a memorable experience. The scenic boat ride, combined with the promise of easy access to the temple, is expected to attract a large number of pilgrims and tourists this season.

Plans are already underway to expand the service further. TSTDC officials have expressed interest in introducing boat trips from Srisailam to Nagarjuna Sagar, which will offer even more opportunities for tourism along the Krishna River. However, this new route is subject to approval from the relevant authorities.

To further enhance the visitor experience, Andhra Pradesh Tourism officials have assured that all necessary amenities will be in place for those traveling by boat. Whether it’s comfortable accommodations or well-maintained facilities at the temple, authorities are committed to ensuring that every aspect of the journey is smooth and enjoyable for travelers.

The relaunch of the boat service is part of a broader strategy to develop and promote tourism along the Krishna River. The picturesque landscape, rich culture, and religious significance of the region make it an ideal destination for both spiritual and leisure tourism. With improved accessibility and the unique river journey, the boat service will undoubtedly become a key attraction for visitors looking to explore the beauty of Andhra Pradesh.

Additionally, the boat service is expected to contribute to the local economy by attracting more tourists to the area. With more people traveling to Nagarjuna Sagar and Srisailam, businesses in the region, including hotels, restaurants, and shops, stand to benefit from the influx of visitors. This will further strengthen the tourism infrastructure and create more opportunities for local employment.

The Krishna River, which has long been an important waterway for the region, will now serve as a major tourist attraction, thanks to the launch of this boat service. By offering a convenient and enjoyable way to travel between two significant destinations, TSTDC is making it easier for people to experience the beauty and spiritual significance of the area.
