Indian Hotels Company’s Bold Move: Taj Resort Set to Redefine Beachfront Luxury in Kollam, Kerala

The largest hospitality company in India, Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), has just revealed the signing of a Taj-branded resort in Kollam, Kerala. This resort marks a significant Brownfield project for the company.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, IHCL said, “With this signing, we further strengthen IHCL’s longstanding presence in Kerala. As a historic seaport city renowned for its picturesque landscapes and cultural heritage, Kollam holds immense potential as a prominent tourist destination. It is also the southern gateway to the renowned backwaters of the state. We are pleased to collaborate with Mr. Chacko Paul for this hotel. “

Located on a vast 13-acre stretch along the picturesque Thirumullavaram Beach, this resort offers nearly 600 feet of unspoiled beachfront beauty. It comprises 205 rooms, each offering stunning vistas of the Arabian Sea. The resort is equipped with various amenities including an all-day dining facility, a specialty vegetarian restaurant, a stylish bar, a revitalizing spa, an enticing swimming pool, and a fully equipped gym. With more than 20,000 square feet of adaptable banquet space and extensive lawns, it serves as an ideal setting for both corporate functions and social gatherings.
