IndiGo, India’s favored airline, has revealed its plans to introduce daily direct flights connecting Hyderabad and Bangkok starting from February 26, 2024. This new service aims to bolster seamless travel between these two prominent tourist destinations, strengthening connectivity across Southeast Asia. IndiGo is set to become the first Indian airline to establish a direct link between Hyderabad and Bangkok, marking a significant milestone.

Presently, IndiGo operates flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Bhubaneshwar to Bangkok. With the inclusion of these upcoming flights from Hyderabad, the airline’s international connectivity from Hyderabad will increase from 8 to 14 destinations in just one year. This expansion highlights IndiGo’s commitment to broadening its network and providing travelers with enhanced options.

The addition of the Hyderabad-Bangkok route will contribute to a total of 37 weekly flights connecting India and Bangkok, solidifying Hyderabad as the sixth Indian city with a direct link to Bangkok. Mr. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed enthusiasm about this development, emphasizing the airline’s dedication to improving accessibility across Southeast Asia. He highlighted that with this new route, IndiGo now offers a total of 57 direct flights per week to Thailand from six cities in India, comprising 37 flights to Bangkok and 20 to Phuket.

Mr. Malhotra stated, “The introduction of this route not only underscores our commitment to expanding connectivity but also serves as a bridge between two culturally rich destinations. As India’s leading carrier, our objective is to consistently deliver affordable, punctual, courteous, and stress-free travel experiences.”
