IndiGo flight to Mumbai makes emergency landing with Telangana’s CM and political leaders onboard

A glitch on an IndiGo flight with Telangana CM aboard caused an emergency landing, averting danger. The crew’s prompt action ensured everyone’s safety.

A mechanical glitch occurred on the IndiGo aircraft transporting Telangana’s Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy. The skilled flight crew successfully executed an immediate landing to address the situation. This complication arose soon after departure from Shamshabad Airport, and the quick response prevented a serious mishap. On board with Revanth Reddy were Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, and the Telangana Congress Party’s overseer, Deepa Das Munshi. Their journey was aimed at attending the finale of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Mumbai. The aircraft resumed its flight to Mumbai following the necessary fixes.

Each of the named individuals had secured their seats on the Hyderabad to Mumbai flight, scheduled to take off at 2:30 PM. Revanth Reddy was situated in the premium seat A2 at the front. The unforeseen technical difficulty led to a delay of ninety minutes in the flight’s schedule.
