IndiGo launches operations from Gondia, now 85th domestic destination in 6E network

IndiGo, the favored airline in India, has initiated its services to and from Gondia, Maharashtra, effective from December 01, 2023. Gondia now joins the extensive 6E network as the 85th domestic destination and the 117th overall destination. The recently established route connecting Gondia and Hyderabad is designed to improve interstate accessibility and significantly decrease travel time between these two cities.

In a statement, Mr. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed, “We are delighted to launch operations to/from Gondia, marking our 8th destination in Maharashtra and the 85th in India. This step not only strengthens interstate connectivity but also stimulates economic growth, trade, and regional development. By providing direct connectivity to Gondia, we are also improving access to neighboring states such as Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
