IndiGo Unveils Exciting 6 New Routes for Summer Travel

IndiGo, India’s favored airline, has unveiled fresh additions to its domestic routes for the upcoming summer timetable. Beginning March 31, 2024, the airline will commence direct flights between Ahmedabad and Rajkot, Ahmedabad and Aurangabad, Bhopal and Lucknow, as well as Indore and Varanasi. Additionally, direct flights between Kolkata and Srinagar, and Kolkata and Jammu will launch on April 10, 2024, and April 21, 2024, respectively. Flights linking Kolkata and Jammu via Srinagar will also initiate operations from April 10, 2024. These newly established connections with prominent hubs such as Ahmedabad, Lucknow, and Kolkata aim to enhance travel flexibility and facilitate access to other domestic and international destinations, catering to the needs of both business travelers and tourists.

As air travel gains popularity and with the advent of new airports, there is a noticeable surge in domestic travel demand. According to CAPA’s projections, India’s air passenger traffic is anticipated to soar to 860 million by 2030, presenting substantial prospects for economic advancement. These fresh routes not only foster trade, commerce, and job opportunities but also forge stronger bonds between the cities. IndiGo assumes a pivotal role in propelling the economic development of these cities by augmenting connectivity and accessibility, thereby consolidating its status as the preferred airline in India.
