Recently, the Alberta government has declared about the “master plan” for railway development. It has got the passionate support of Integrated Travel & Research Development which is a well-known advocate of reasonable and sustainable transportation solutions.
The plan of the government is in line with the main intent of ITRD in promoting responsible rail practices that help all Albertans, as it is interested to renovate as well as grow the rail infrastructure of the provinces.

ITRD congratulates the Alberta government for accepting “Rail for All,” an all-inclusive plan for the development of railway that considers social justice, preservation of the environment, and financial growth into account.
The Director of Research & Development at ITRD, Vern Raincock, said that this strategy throws light on their commitment toward responsible rail, intended to help public interest in a comprehensive manner, decreasing dependency on road transport and encouraging more sustainable and unified Alberta.
For all Albertans to get profited, the master plan should help the rural communities that are located between the important urban centres, besides giving importance to developing rail connectivity between them. If this strategy is executed with a “Connecting Communities” target, it has the possibility to unlock financial possibility and improve accessibility to employment opportunities, education, mainly for underserved and native communities.
