Introducing Chef Nicola Rossi: Enhancing culinary excellence at Four Seasons Hotel Baku

The Four Seasons Hotel Baku proudly introduces its new Executive Chef, Nicola Rossi, bringing with him two decades of culinary expertise garnered from a rich international career, including a commendable nine-year stint at various Four Seasons hotels and resorts. Nicola’s journey led him through esteemed culinary destinations, such as the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre, the Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre, and most recently, the Four Seasons Hotel Marrakech, where he served as Executive Chef. Throughout his illustrious career, Chef Rossi has been exposed to diverse cuisines and exotic ingredients, nurturing his lifelong passion for cooking and infusing his dishes with fresh meaning.

Hailing from Cremona, Italy, Nicola’s culinary journey began in his formative years, exploring food markets with his family and reveling in the rich flavors of Italian cuisine. After graduating from the Istituto Tecnico Luigi Nervi, he sought international exposure, driven by his desire to create extraordinary culinary experiences worldwide. “I aspired to learn from the industry’s finest,” reflects Nicola on his decision to join the esteemed Four Seasons brand in 2015.

“I’m sincerely happy to embark on this new chapter in my culinary career in Azerbaijan,” says Nicola with excitement. “The moment I landed in Baku I started to feel myself at home as the city has a truly unique charm with beautiful sea boulevard in the heart of the city and UNESCO Heritage site adjoining Four Seasons Hotel. My main goal will be to bridge together Italian and Azerbaijani cuisines and add my renowned Mediterranean flair to bring a truly extraordinary experience to our guests.”

Chef Nicola Rossi will collaborate closely with Executive Sous Chef Suraj Karmakar and the culinary team to extend warm hospitality to guests of the hotel and residents of Baku, Azerbaijan, infusing the essence of Italy into the vibrant culture of the Land of Fire.
