Ireland’s Luxurious Tourism Experience Takes Center Stage in the U.S

Fourteen tourism companies from Ireland are participating in Tourism Ireland’s Luxury Summit in the United States this week. The summit is taking place in Boston, Greenwich (Connecticut), West Orange (New Jersey), and New York.

A series of networking events will take place during the four-day luxury sales summit, providing Irish tourism companies with a fantastic chance to meet and conduct business with about forty influential buyers and decision-makers who specialize in high-end luxury travel from the United States to destinations worldwide. The idea is to make sure that when buyers are suggesting a destination to their clients, the island of Ireland is “top of mind.”

Alison Metcalfe, Tourism Ireland’s Head of North America, said that the summit provides an excellent chance to raise awareness about Ireland among influential luxury travel buyers in the United States. It aims to secure a larger portion of their valuable business for 2024 and beyond. He stated, “Our Luxury Summit to Boston, Greenwich, West Orange and New York is an excellent platform for Tourism Ireland and our partners to highlight the superb luxury tourism offering available right around the island of Ireland – from our boutique hotels, castles and luxury resorts to our rich culture and heritage, and not forgetting our world-class golf and superb culinary scene.”
