ITA Airways resumes Tel Aviv-Rome flights in march

ITA Airways has declared the gradual resumption of flights between Tel Aviv Ben Gurion and Rome Fiumicino, commencing on March 1. Initially, there will be three weekly flights, with an anticipated increase during the 2024 summer season, contingent upon geopolitical developments. In March, flights will adhere to the following schedule:

• Flights will depart from Tel Aviv Ben Gurion every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 3:20 p.m. (local time), arriving at Rome Fiumicino at 6:05 p.m. (local time).
• Departures from Rome Fiumicino are scheduled for every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 10:00 a.m. (local time), reaching Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport by 2:20 p.m. (local time).

This flight schedule facilitates convenient transfer connections from Israel to all ITA Airways intercontinental destinations, particularly to North America, leveraging the Rome Fiumicino hub.

The resumption of Tel Aviv-Rome flights is attributed to collaborative efforts with Italian and Israeli authorities. This strategic initiative is of paramount importance for ITA Airways as it bolsters commercial, social, and cultural ties between the two markets.
