ITC Hotels ventures into North East with Welcomhotel Gangtok a Culinary and Scenic delight await

ITC Hotels is embarking on a new venture in the North East with the introduction of Welcomhotel Gangtok. This establishment, comprising 60 rooms, offers captivating vistas of Mount Kanchenjunga, India’s highest peak and the world’s third highest, from every accommodation. Leveraging the culinary mastery of ITC Hotels, Welcomhotel Gangtok will feature two dining venues: ‘Mayal,’ an all-day dining restaurant, and a poolside café and bar. With seating for 150 guests, ‘Mayal’ will tantalize diners with beloved Sikkimese delicacies, set amidst both indoor and outdoor spaces providing picturesque views of the valley. This regional cuisine is already a favorite among food enthusiasts and travelers drawn to the North East for its breathtaking landscapes and gastronomic delights.

Strategically situated near Gangtok’s renowned MG Market, Flower Exhibition Centre, and other popular landmarks, Welcomhotel Gangtok is slated to unveil its new avatar in early 2025. Gangtok serves as the gateway to the North and East, regions increasingly sought after by domestic and international tourists.
