Marks the commencement of the transformation of three historical estates in Al Balad, Jeddah Historic District, into boutique luxury hotels, enriching an area celebrated for its historical and cultural importance along the West Coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, safeguarded under UNESCO heritage protection. These establishments, nestled within the heart of the Jeddah Historic District initiative aimed at revitalizing Al Balad’s ancient charm, are named House of Jokhdar, Kedwan, and Al Rayess. Each has been meticulously revived, honoring the collaboration between historians, local artisans, and architects, and showcasing the use of regional materials. These hotels mirror their historical architecture while seamlessly incorporating modern luxury and sophistication.

Culinary experiences are central to the stay, with a dedicated restaurant serving set menus for lunch and breakfast for all three properties, allowing guests and locals alike to indulge in the rich local cuisine.
Guests staying at these properties will be immersed in the region’s rich heritage, greeted with coffee and rose-infused tea upon arrival, and offered the chance to customize their stay from the outset. Personal touches range from bespoke chocolates during airport transfers to the aroma of incense in their rooms, ensuring a uniquely personalized home-away-from-home experience, complete with complimentary airport transfers.
These hotels mark the initial phase in a broader effort to restore a collection of heritage sites, introducing the first 17 keys of what will eventually amount to 165 keys across 34 heritage properties set to open by 2027, further enriching the historical tapestry of Al Balad.
