This milestone follows shortly after their announcement of expanding their presence in the UK by introducing flights and holidays from Bournemouth Airport, set to become their 12th base airport. Before boarding, passengers were entertained by a Beatles tribute band called The Beatles for Sale at an exclusive launch event. One fortunate customer won a seven-night family holiday to Tenerife, and the first ten check-in customers received Jet2.com flight vouchers.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ presence in Liverpool expands their UK footprint, allowing travelers and independent travel agents in Merseyside and surrounding areas to access their award-winning services conveniently. The companies offer flights and ATOL protected package holidays from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to 20 sunny destinations for Summer 24, including exclusive routes like Gran Canaria, Menorca, Rhodes, Zante, Madeira, and Bourgas.
The inaugural summer operation boasts 565,000 seats and up to 54 weekly flights during peak times, offering customers a wide range of choices and flexibility.
