JetBlue and Etihad Airways Enhance Partnership with New Loyalty program at Arabian Travel Market in Dubai

JetBlue, known as New York’s Hometown Airline®, and Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, unveiled new loyalty benefits set to kick off on May 8, 2024, strengthening their enduring codeshare alliance. This significant agreement was commemorated at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai.

Under this collaboration, participants of JetBlue’s TrueBlue loyalty initiative and Etihad Guest, the loyalty program of Etihad Airways, will enjoy the privilege of earning and utilizing points within their preferred program while traveling across the expansive networks of both airlines.

“JetBlue has been an important partner for Etihad for almost a decade and we’re thrilled to be extending this partnership to our loyalty programmes, benefitting both of our airlines’ valued members. We look forward to welcoming and rewarding TrueBlue members,” said Mark Potter, managing director, Etihad Guest. “This also further bolsters Etihad’s commitment to the U.S. market, following the recent launch of our direct service connecting Abu Dhabi and Boston, as well as introducing our popular A380 onto the New York route, expanding capacity.”

This collaboration enhances the array of redemption choices available in both programs, with Etihad Guest miles now redeemable for an extensive array of experiences, ranging from flights and global hotel accommodations to the conversion of miles into a shopping reward card. Furthermore, JetBlue introduced its revamped TrueBlue loyalty program last year, presenting members with added value through innovative features such as status tracking tiles, Perks You Pick®, expanded Mosaic tiers for the airline’s most dedicated clientele, and increased avenues for earning perks and status. Recognizing the diversity of travelers’ preferences, TrueBlue empowers customers to select rewards tailored to their individual needs, accruing points through various activities like flying, purchasing, driving, or shopping.

These customer loyalty enhancements build upon nearly a decade of collaboration between the two airlines, facilitating connectivity between New York and Boston to Etihad’s extensive global network encompassing more than 70 destinations, as well as granting access to over 40 destinations across JetBlue’s network throughout the Americas.
