Jharkhand is a much-liked place for religious tourism, says official

Jharkhand is fast turning into a favored travel destination in terms of religious tourism because of its exclusive topography and different kinds of religious places. Also, the state has the possibility of adventure tourism. In Jharkhand, road and infrastructure are better compared to other states.

For time immemorial, spiritualism has been India’s strength and Jharkhand has many things to offer to the visitors in regards of spirituality as there are many types of religious places in Jharkhand, said Alok Prasad, general manager, tourism development corporation.

During a seminar, Mr. Prasad who was speaking on fueling innovation in Jharkhand Tourism as a part of the Hindustan Times Tourism Conclave, also talked about the safety features for inbound visitors saying that at present they feel safe while coming to the state and it is slowly turning into a favorite hotspot because of its exceptional topography.

The tourists while coming here feel safe and there are no difficulties as such. Under the Centre’s Prasad scheme in Jharkhand, religious tourism has flourished.

In Jharkhand, there are different types of religious places for Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. He said that if they talk about Jharkhand, there are many spiritual places where pilgrims from all over the country can visit like the Baidyanath Dham Temple.
