With Jharkhand celebrating its 22nd birthday, its preference list is clearly defined. With accessible resources and natural prospective of the state, Jharkhand is all set to accelerate its growth rate with sufficient support for its industrial, tourism, education and health divisions.

For empowering Jharkhand and triggering fast track growth, Vijay Anand Moonka, the president of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that these sectors need to be strengthened. For example, increasing the number of multi-specialty hospitals in Jharkhand will help in providing improved medical facilities to the people and will make sure that they do not need to travel to other states to get treatment. This will also boost earnings generated by the sector.

To stop brain drain, the SCCI president said that higher education institutions need to be set up in Jharkhand. Students from Jharkhand drift to other states looking for higher education. This needs to be restricted by setting up academic institutions of high reputation catering to the requirements of the students.

This will not only help students study at academic institutions close to their homes, it will also benefit the state by better using the aptitudes and capabilities of the students. Revenue generated by the education segment will also be another advantage adding to the state’s treasury, said the SCCI president.

Another priority for Jharkhand is to make the industrial capital of Jamshedpur powerful, by setting up an airport.
