Conrad New York Midtown has recently appointed Jimmy Sarfraz as the general manager of its 562-room luxury property in the heart of Manhattan. With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, particularly with Hilton, Sarfraz comes to Conrad New York Midtown from San Jose, California, where he played a key role in the successful rebrand and opening of Signia by Hilton San Jose. In his new position, Sarfraz will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ranging from the guest experience to food and beverage.

Having accumulated a wealth of multicultural and global experience in the hospitality sector, Sarfraz has pursued a dynamic career that has taken him from London to Malta, to New York, and Northern California. His expertise lies in leading new hotel infrastructure projects and transformative renovation endeavors across regional hotels. Before joining Conrad New York Midtown, Sarfraz served as the general manager for Signia by Hilton San Jose, where he played a pivotal role in the reopening of the landmark hotel under the Hilton flag and Signia by Hilton’s inaugural California property. Throughout his extensive tenure with Hilton, Sarfraz has excelled in managerial roles at various properties, including Conrad New York Downtown, Millennium Hilton New York Downtown, Hilton San Jose, and Juniper Hotel Cupertino, Curio Collection by Hilton.
