Maverick & Farmer, the artisanal coffee brand, is set to host its second Harvest Festival at their cafe in Ulsoor on February 24th and 25th. This two-day celebration of coffee will offer a plethora of hands-on experiences and a lively marketplace showcasing local talents.

For coffee aficionados, interactive workshops will reveal the secrets of brewing. One such workshop, titled “Making Filter Coffee Sexy,” will be led by Ashish D’abreo, a Q grader, coffee roaster, and co-founder of Maverick & Farmer Coffee. Participants will engage in an interactive session to discover tips and tricks for creating innovative coffee at home, reminiscent of a cafe experience.

Additionally, the festival will feature the third edition of its “Friends of the Farmer” brew sessions, highlighting local coffee farmers and their exceptional produce.This session featuring farmer Aveen Rodrigues from Melkodige estate is set to take place on February 24th at 4:30 pm at the Ulsoor cafe.The estate, renowned for growing Arabica under a unique three-tier shade system that supports native flora and fauna, was awarded the title of the best coffee farmer in India by Nespresso Switzerland in 2013.

said, “Maverick & Farmer’s initiative, through the Harvest Festival, is playing a crucial
role in promoting sustainable and ethical coffee practices in India. By showcasing the
stories and faces behind our coffee,they are inspiring consumers to make informed
choices and support responsible farming methods. This not only benefits our
environment but supports our hardworking coffee communities.”

As part of the festivities, Käse artisanal cheese makers will offer a special cheese and coffee pairing workshop, where participants can taste various cheeses and coffee blends. History enthusiasts can also join renowned coffee expert Vinay Parameshwarappa on a unique Coffee Cantonment walk, uncovering Bangalore’s hidden coffee treasures and delving into the city’s rich coffee heritage.

In addition to workshops, attendees can explore handmade crafts, indulge in seasonal treats, and discover sustainable products from artisans, farmers, and entrepreneurs. Live music sets the festive atmosphere throughout the weekend, while engaging activities cater to families, promoting a sense of community and appreciation for nature.
