Experience SFO’s Silent Disco “San Fran-disco” from Feb 14-Mar 15 in Terminal 1. Dance with your headphones to SF-inspired tunes. Join the fun!

In 2018, the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) introduced its “Quiet Airport” initiative aimed at lowering noise levels in its terminals. Building on this innovative approach, SFO is now launching a unique Silent Disco event named “San Fran-disco.” This event encourages travelers to groove to music themed around San Francisco, all through their personal headphones. The event is scheduled to take place from February 14 to March 15, 2024, in the Harvey Milk Terminal 1’s post-security zone.

Here’s your guide to participating:

• Head over to the “San Fran-disco” dance area located in Harvey Milk Terminal 1, post-security, near the Johnston & Murphy store. You won’t miss it—just look for the shimmering disco ball!
• Use your headphones by connecting them to your mobile device.
• Log onto the airport’s complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi network: #SFO Silent Disco.
• Hit the play button.
• Enjoy dancing to a carefully selected playlist that celebrates the essence of San Francisco!
