Jordan captivates at Expo 2025 Osaka with an immersive pavilion showcasing 10,000 years of history, thriving tourism, cultural heritage, and innovative youth.
Jordan is actively participating in Expo 2025 Osaka, which launched on Sunday in Japan and will continue until October 13 under the theme “Weaving the Future,” with over 150 countries involved. Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, Commissioner General of the Jordanian Pavilion and Director General of the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), highlighted the importance of this international event, considering it a key moment to present Jordan’s vibrant cultural heritage, booming tourism industry, and innovative youth on the global stage.

The pavilion is designed not only as a national exhibit but as a dynamic platform to elevate Jordan’s global presence in tourism and investment. Visitors are immersed in a 10-minute experience that takes them through over 10,000 years of history, employing advanced storytelling techniques, architectural elements, and artisanal craftsmanship that merge authenticity with modernity. Arabiyat highlighted that the pavilion aims to make a lasting impact, reinforcing Jordan’s cultural identity, empowering its youth, and promoting a positive image to the world.
Alongside its cultural showcase, the JTB is working to position Jordan as a top tourism destination while forging connections with the Japanese private sector to boost investment and promote Jordanian products abroad. The pavilion showcases the “Theatre of Civilisations,” a 360-degree immersive dome that takes visitors on a journey to the vast sands of Wadi Rum, embodying the unity of nature and culture. The interactive space also includes three thematic zones: traditional handicraft displays, the “Herb House” where visitors can taste authentic local flavors, and a shop selling handmade crafts, Dead Sea products, and traditional cuisine.
Additionally, a private floor, available by reservation, offers exclusive experiences such as the “Salt Cave Spa,” inspired by the therapeutic qualities of the Dead Sea, and a versatile hall for cultural and artistic events, making the Jordanian pavilion a vibrant center for cultural exchange and inspiration.
