Jordan Tourism Board unveils promotion campaign across Europe

In order to lift tourism, the Jordan Tourism Board has unveiled a promotion campaign across Europe to acquaint Europeans with the country’s structures and landmarks.


JTB started the campaign, which will run through October and November, across key European countries in order to increase tourist influx and to notify Europeans regarding the Kingdom’s sites, said Nayef Fayez, Jordanian the Minister of Tourism and the Chairman of JTB.


The campaign was launched in Britain, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Austria and the Netherlands for improving Jordan’s new identity as the “Kingdom of Time,” which displays the country as a tourist destination, said the board’s Director-General Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat.


The campaign also emphasizes Royal Jordanian as Jordan’s national carrier, added Arabiyat, via ads on public transportation and in shopping centers, along with billboards in busy areas like Piazza del Duomo in Milan in Italy and the Manchester Piccadilly station in the UK.
