Published on December 19, 2025

Resort

In a significant development for the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, JW Marriott Las Vegas and Rampart Casino have announced a full property rebrand, officially becoming The Resort at Summerlin starting January 1, 2026. This change marks the culmination of a $75 million renovation and a transformation into a premier luxury destination in the heart of the Summerlin community. The revamped property will offer a mix of wellness-focused luxury, high-end gaming, and elevated guest experiences, establishing itself as a centerpiece of the Las Vegas resort landscape.

The rebrand to The Resort at Summerlin is the result of a comprehensive renovation, focusing on redefining the guest experience while honoring the property’s legacy as a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike. The newly renovated resort will merge Mediterranean architectural influences with modern design elements to create a serene yet dynamic atmosphere. With expansive open spaces, natural light, and design details that echo the surrounding desert landscape, The Resort at Summerlin is poised to offer an unparalleled experience for both leisure and business travelers.

A Complete Transformation of Las Vegas’ Summerlin Resort

The $75 million renovation covers virtually every aspect of the resort, from redesigned accommodations to updated amenities and a revitalized casino floor. The newly renovated guest rooms at The Resort at Summerlin boast 560 square feet of elegant space, designed with contemporary residential-style furnishings, including dining tables, couches, and 65-inch smart TVs. Inspired by the desert landscape, the color palette emphasizes calm tones and textures to evoke a serene, luxurious atmosphere.

The resort features 549 guestrooms, with 98 offering walk-out or Juliette balconies, and 11 rooms and suites with expansive walk-out terraces. These enhancements provide guests with opportunities to immerse themselves in the tranquil surroundings of the property, which is set against the lush gardens, waterfalls, and koi ponds of the resort.

Along with room upgrades, the resort’s Conference Center and fitness center have also been refreshed. A new Hydra Lounge relaxation area, and upgraded treatment rooms in the Spa Aquae, ensure that guests have access to an elevated wellness experience. The casino floor has also received an upgrade with new lighting, carpeting, and finishes, alongside new High Limit Rooms, which offer a sophisticated gaming environment with cutting-edge technology and personalized service.

Exciting New Dining and Entertainment Experiences

One of the most anticipated additions to the newly rebranded resort is the introduction of The Neighborhood Food Hall, a culinary destination designed to cater to a variety of tastes. The food hall will feature several exciting new dining concepts set to open in 2025 and 2026, including:

These dining venues will join existing favorites such as Hawthorn Grill, Jade Asian Kitchen & Noodles, and Market Place Buffet. The diverse food offerings will further establish The Resort at Summerlin as a social and culinary hub in the Las Vegas area.

New Caesars Sportsbook and Gaming Experience

In late 2025, The Resort at Summerlin will also partner with Caesars Entertainment to introduce a new Caesars Sportsbook inside the property. Expected to open in early 2026, the sportsbook will offer a premium sports wagering experience to the Summerlin community, with state-of-the-art technology and innovative features.

The Caesars Sportsbook will occupy the current space used by the existing sportsbook, with significant upgrades including a 360-degree LED video display, new self-service betting kiosks, and a new video wall for enhanced sports viewing. This addition will elevate the sports betting experience at The Resort at Summerlin, offering visitors an immersive atmosphere to enjoy major sports events.

A Welcoming Hub for Locals and Travelers

The transformation of JW Marriott Las Vegas and Rampart Casino into The Resort at Summerlin is not only about luxury and upgrades, but also about continuing to strengthen the resort’s role as a welcoming hub for both locals and tourists. The resort’s expansive offerings will cater to a wide range of guests, from families looking for relaxing getaways to business travelers seeking top-tier amenities and event spaces.

In addition to the new gaming options and dining experiences, The Resort at Summerlin will also feature 18,000 square feet of event space, providing a stunning backdrop for meetings, weddings, and milestone celebrations. With breathtaking views and expertly designed interiors, the resort will serve as a premier venue for both personal and corporate events.

Looking Ahead: A Reaffirmation of The Resort’s Legacy

This transformation represents a reaffirmation of what the property has always represented: a premier resort experience in the Summerlin area. It is a place where luxury, comfort, and community come together, offering guests an unparalleled escape in the heart of Las Vegas.

When The Resort at Summerlin officially reopens in 2026, it will not only redefine luxury in the region but also continue its legacy as a central part of the Summerlin community. Guests can look forward to elevated accommodations, dining, wellness offerings, and an exciting gaming environment, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Las Vegas desert.
