The daily average for international flights is forecast to be 62,300. This amounts to $809,400. However, it is important to take note of the fact that the New Year holidays back in 2019-20 relating to 10 days had a daily average of 74,180 that totaled up to 741,800.

The departure day that is expected to be the busiest over the span of the New Year Holidays happens to be Friday (i.e., December 29, 2023), with a load of 33,400 passengers. Back in the year 2019-20 relating to the New Year holidays, the busiest day concerning the departure was December 28th, Saturday. It had passengers that totaled up to 42,910.

The busiest day relating to arrivals is projected to be January 3, 2024, which will amount to 33,100 passengers. While the busiest day for arrival yesteryear was on Saturday, January 4, 2020, with 40,970 passengers.

Compared to 2019–20, the average daily passenger count is probably going to be 84%, with South Korea, Southeast Asia, and China slated to be the top three destinations.

There are three airports that the Kansai Group manages. First up are Kobe; Osaka International (Itami); and Kansai International Airport (KIX), which launched its upgraded commercial space at the Terminal 1 airside zone on December 5.

With safety and security as its top priorities, Kansai Airports Group is instrumental in its operation under the philosophy of One Kansai Airports Group. It aims at continuous improvement of services relating to all airport visitors through appropriate investments and effective operations. Apart from that, the Kansai Airports group will fully fulfill the potential of all three airports, which will benefit the communities they serve.
