Kashi Vishwanath Corridor coming up with best facilities for tourists

The Kashi Vishwanath Corridor is creating a lasting impressionas a result of thefastemerging facilities as part of it, coming up as thebestselection for tourists.

From the time when the corridor was complete, the tourism sector in Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh has taken a great turn. Numeroussegmentsaccompanied by religious tourism are burgeoning.

According to experts, the corridor is demonstrating to turn atop prize for the tourism business. Data says thatnearly 20-30 lakh tourists have been dropping in the city each month.

The president of the Banaras Hotel Association, Gokul Sharma,said that travelers are coming to the place fromaround the country since the inauguration of thecorridor.

Sharma said that almost one lakh pilgrims visit the temple each day. The number doubles during holidays.
He said that the corridor has guaranteedworkprospects for several people. Previously, while only one five star hotel, i.e.Tajwas functional, now as much as 1200 big and small hotels are listed.

Other institutions also comprise guest houses along withviable places to stay, said Mr. Sharma.

As of now, only Indians are visiting the temple. However, the number will go upwhen foreigners start arriving. Their entrance will also assist businesses gatheradditionalimpetus.

Santosh Kumar Singh, anassociate of the Varanasi Tourism Guild and bookkeeper of the Tourism Welfare Association (TWA), said that local tourism has evenimprovedmuch after the construction of thecorridor.
