Katarina Line resumes travel agent showcases and in-person meetings

Katarina Line, Croatia’s premier small ship cruise company, announced that it has resumed its participation in travel agent showcases throughout the United States as international travel restrictions are eased. The company is also ramping up its one-on-one educational seminars and meetings with travel advisors in the U.S. and is exploring opportunities to return to Canada and numerous other destinations worldwide.

Katarina Line’s announcement comes as the company completes its first round of U.S. trade show visits in September and October, with shows that included GTM West in Tucson, Travursity Travel Showcase in Denver and the Home Based Travel Agent Forum in Las Vegas..

“More than 98 percent of all our bookings come from travel agents,” noted Daniel Hauptfeld, Katarina Line’s marketing director. “We’re looking forward to meeting with them in-person again and exploring all the excellent benefits available to them when they recommend our small ship cruises along the Dalmatian coast.”

Upcoming Trade Shows
Katarina Line will be present at the TTG Travel Experience in Italy, October 13 -15, and the Travel & Adventure Shows in Atlanta and San Francisco, October 16 and 17, and October 23 and 24, respectively. It will also participate in the PATA 5th Annual Cruise Night in San Diego, October 19. The company will then be at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, November 1 – 3; and IMEX America, November 9 – 11, in Las Vegas. It will be at Cruiseworld in Miami from November 10 – 12; the NTA Travel Exchange in Cleveland, November 15 – 17; and the USTOA Annual Conference & Marketplace in San Diego, December 7 – 11, 2021.

Individual meetings and presentations can be scheduled during the events, as well as before and after the shows. The company can also visit advisors in their offices, depending on their schedules.

Strict Health and Safety Protocols
Katarina Line observes strict health and safety protocols, with frequent and regular cleaning of all common surfaces, including handrails, doorknobs, and light switches, as well as the use of air purifiers in the restaurant area. Cabins are cleaned on a daily basis, upon request, with all surfaces thoroughly sanitized.
