Kerala can become a model for tourism-led economic retrieval

Kerala can become an ideal for tourism-led retrieval of financial development after COVID-19, said P.A. Mohamed Riyas, the Kerala Tourism Minister.


MinisterRiyas said that throughout the world, tourism-centric projects are being planned as part of economic revival.


Tourism is expected to play a significant role in giving rise to new job opportunities, encouraging livelihood initiatives, nurturing cultural give-and-take, and improvement of basic setup. Tourism would assist in networking,transport,agriculture, education,fisheries, shopping malls, hotels & restaurants and souvenir sectors along with boostingfinancialprogression.


There would be discussions with the Chief Minister of Kerala along with other ministers regarding the ways to make this universal trend thinkable in Kerala as well, saidMinisterRiyas.


Minister Riyas said thatmindful travel, a universal approach to travel, and being carefulabout its influence, is yet another inclination to which Kerala is most suitable. It involvesbeing aware about local life and beliefs and having a constructiveinfluence on communities that people visit. Experience tourism, which is being encouraged as part of responsible tourism would aidin luring tourists to Kerala.


Case in point, monsoon in the state could be upheld by emphasizingon Ayurveda and Karkidaka kanji customs. Visitors would have the option of spending the complete monsoon season in Kerala. Measures would be taken to turn Kerala asignificant conscious-travel destination, opined Minister Riyas.
