Kerala Tourism Infrastructure Ltd hosts facility to expedite investment proposals

The inauguration of the Facilitation Centre, aimed at advancing projects emerging from the Tourism Investors Meet (TIM), will be conducted by Tourism Minister Shri P A Mohamed Riyas at the Kerala Tourism Infrastructure Ltd (KTIL) office, scheduled for February 7th at 3:30 pm.

Established by the Tourism Department, this Centre is dedicated to expediting the evaluation and approval processes for investment proposals generated during the TIM event held in November. The initiative garnered significant interest from investors, resulting in a multitude of project submissions aiming to capitalize on the abundant tourism opportunities within the state.

Recognizing the necessity to promptly act on these proposals, it was decided to establish a Facilitation Centre in the city, ensuring efficient processing for timely implementation. Additionally, the Centre will entertain new project proposals moving forward.

The role of Convener for the TIM Facilitation Centre has been assigned to the Tourism Additional Director (General), with the Chairman of KTIL serving as Co-Convenor.
