Kerala Tourism receives Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Gold Award

Kerala Tourism received the prominent Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Gold Award in the group of
‘Marketing Campaign (state & city – Global)’, marking an authentic ratification of the state’s continued efforts toward planning ground-breaking creativities to draw tourists from far and near.

S Prem Krishnan, Kerala Tourism additional director (General) received the felicitation at the PATA Travel
Mart 2023 from Peter Semone, the chairman of PATA. The event was organized at the International Exhibition Convention Center (IECC) at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. 

Established in 1984, the PATA Grand and Gold Awards identify the premium contributions from the travel
segment in the Asia-Pacific area. The winning projects regularly create standards for fineness and originality.

Kerala Tourism’s esteemed promotion, ‘Make up for lost time, pack up for Kerala’, conceptualized for an
audience transitioning to normality following the pandemic time, aimed toward local tourists. The
promotion grabbed attention across all important media platforms, comprising print, radio, out-of-home
promotion, digital videos and banners (web portals), along with social media channels.
