Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a discussion with the members of the Cabinet in the Forest department’s rest house at Kolar Dam regarding development of the state, timely execution of the roadmap of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh, implementation of departmental schemes, good governance and public welfare among others.
During the discussion, the CM expressed his happiness over the departmental preparations made by the ministers and said that if the work continues with the same fervor and speed, then the day is not far when Madhya Pradesh will become the best state in India.
The CM said that Kolar reservoir area is full of natural beauty, attracting tourists effortlessly. In terms of tourism, the Kolar reservoir area will be developed like Hanuvantiya.
Mr. Chouhan said during his discussion with Home Minister Narottam Mishra that effective action is being taken against various mafias in the state. The recently introduced Religious Freedom Ordinance will prove to be advantageous for girls. The government will soon bring in a new law for strict action against stone-pelting. Home Minister Narottam Mishra briefed the Chief Minister regarding departmental activities in detail.
The CM said that good governance is their top priority in the state. Good governance means that all services are received in a specific time period without any give and take from the public. People do not have to wander from pillar to post.
Mr. Chouhan said during his discussion with Health Minister Prabhuram Chaudhary that free medical facilities of up to Rs. five lakhs are provided to the needy under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in the state. The CM also held discussions with other important ministers.
