Kottayam to get new projects of tourism

In the backwater landscape of Kottayam, tourism prospects have received an additional boost with experts suggesting to start four new projects related to tourism infrastructure in the region as part of the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 program.

As per V.N. Vasavan, the Cooperation Minister, suggestions for developing Kumarakom bird sanctuary, along with a nightlife center at the Nalupank houseboat terminal, Kaipuzhamutt boat terminal and Cheeppungal backwater park will soon be give in to the ministry of tourism. A detailed project reports as
part of it on the best amenities to be created at these locations will soon be prepared.
