As part of its annual traditions and efforts to foster stronger bonds among its staff, Kuwait Airways recently hosted its customary Ramadan Ghabqa event. This gathering was graced by the presence of Kuwait Airways Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan, and the company’s CEO, Captain Ahmad M. Alkreebani, underscoring the significance of the occasion. Former Chairman Captain Sami Al-Nisf, along with numerous officials and employees, also attended the event.
Held at the Kuwait Airways headquarters, the Ghabqa is a testament to the company’s commitment to promoting social interactions among its employees and nurturing a sense of camaraderie akin to a unified family. Notably, this celebration coincided with Kuwait Airways’ 70th anniversary, adding a special dimension to the festivities. The event serves as a platform to cultivate a positive and collaborative team spirit while fostering and solidifying relationships within the Blue Bird family.
In his opening speech to the employees at the Ghabqa event, Kuwait Airways Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Al-Fagaan welcomed the attendees and extended his sincere congratulations to those present on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. Al-Fagaan stated, “Kuwait Airways recently completed the 70th anniversary of its establishment. The people of this country have been accustomed to seeing the company soar high in the sky of achievements throughout these eras commencing from its establishment, which has been accomplished with the efforts, and commitment, of its employees, thus enabling Kuwait Airways to attain numerous remarkable achievements in the world of aviation.”
Al-Fagaan added, “As the national carrier of the State of Kuwait, Kuwait Airways continuously strives to be at the forefront, which the former Board of Directors have endeavoured to accomplish, regardless of their circumstances, strategies, and work plans. We are grateful for their endeavours and appreciate their efforts, which is being accomplished today by the Board of Directors, invoking the blessings of God Almighty for further achievement and progress.”
Al-Fagaan expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the strategic allies of the company, beginning with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, the Ministry of Interior and its affiliated departments, the General Administration of Customs, and Incheon Corporation. These partners have shown unwavering support to the national carrier of Kuwait, contributing significantly to its success and the realization of its goals. He also extended best wishes to all for continued advancement and growth under the guidance of political leadership.
