Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) has achieved a milestone by signing management agreements for three hotels situated on a single site for the first time. These newly constructed establishments are situated within Xiamen Seaworld, a mixed-use development by China Merchants Group (CMG) located on the western shore of Xiamen’s main island.

Scheduled to open in 2025, each of these hotels will represent a different brand from LHG’s diverse portfolio. Among the selected brands are The Langham Hotels & Resorts, LHG’s premier offering catering to the Luxury segment, alongside Cordis Hotels & Resorts, and Ying’nFlo, targeting the Upscale and Midscale Select Service segments respectively. These properties will complement the group’s existing presence in Xiamen, which includes the Langham Place, and elevate the total count of LHG hotels in China to 20.

“We are delighted to see such strong interest in our brands, which is a testament to our success in elevating them to capitalise on the recovery in China’s hospitality sector,” LHG Chief Executive Officer Bob van den Oord said. “The Langham, Cordis and Ying’nFlo will serve as iconic additions to Xiamen Seaworld, a visionary complex that we are proud to be part of. They will also bolster our presence in a wonderfully vibrant city that continues to show great promise.”

Xiamen Seaworld marks CMG’s inaugural Seaworld complex established beyond Shenzhen, showcasing a remarkable achievement in construction. Situated within the Dongdu Free Trade Zone, the meticulously developed site features two towers boasting uninterrupted ocean views and panoramic scenes of Huweishan Park.

The larger tower will host The Langham, Xiamen, Seaworld, where guests will be greeted with breathtaking vistas upon check-in at the luxurious sky lobby on the top floor. The hotel’s centerpiece, the 880-square-meter Grand Ballroom, will stand as one of the city’s largest private event spaces, complemented by extensive meeting facilities covering 1,200 square meters.

The culinary offerings at The Langham will be equally impressive, featuring a branch of the renowned Palm Court, famed for its 150-year tradition of serving afternoon tea in London. Additionally, the hotel will introduce T’ang Court, a dining experience inspired by the Michelin-starred restaurant from The Langham, Hong Kong.

Complementing the luxurious experience, The Langham will feature Chuan Spa, LHG’s renowned wellness hub rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Guests can indulge in signature treatments and access in-room wellness amenities like the Sleep Matters Turndown Kits.

Adjacent in the second tower, Cordis, Xiamen, Seaworld will offer its own array of amenities, including in-room wellness options. Guests of both Cordis and The Langham will enjoy reciprocal access to each other’s facilities, from ballrooms to meeting spaces.

Moreover, the second tower will debut Ying’nFlo, LHG’s newest hotel brand tailored for youthful spirits. Featuring adaptable furniture and cutting-edge technology in guest rooms, Ying’nFlo will also provide a vibrant communal space, the House of Ying’nFlo, the largest of its kind.
