Le Bristol Paris

The culinary landscape at Le Bristol Paris is set to experience an exciting shift with the appointment of Arnaud Faye as its Executive Chef. With a deep passion for superior ingredients and a cuisine that blends generosity, mastery, and elegance, Faye, honored as a Meilleur Ouvrier de France, embodies the same love for the art of enhancing time-honored dishes with modern flair. This approach will permeate the offerings at Le Bristol, spanning its two Michelin-starred dining establishments, Epicure and 114 Faubourg, as well as Café Antonia, alongside Banquets and Room Service.

Faye will helm a skilled team of 200, including a culinary staff of 100. His blueprint for the hotel’s culinary direction has the full backing of Le Bristol and its proprietors, who aspire to uphold the hotel’s reputation as a pinnacle of French culinary art. This marks a thrilling chapter for the 45-year-old chef, who is driven by a quest for new culinary peaks.

Arnaud Faye comments, “I am proud to be joining one of the most prestigious Palaces in the world and to become the torchbearer of its legendary French gastronomic tradition. Continuing the work of Chef Eric Frechon is an immense honour, and bringing my own style to Le Bristol’s kitchens is the most thrilling challenge.”

Raised in the verdant surroundings of Auvergne, Faye’s early exposure to the seasonal riches of nature fostered his appreciation for fresh, nuanced flavors. His journey through the gastronomic heavens, from Antoine Westermann’s Buerehiesel in Strasbourg to Bernard Loiseau’s Relais in Saulieu, nurtured his affinity for intricate sauces and local produce, and ignited his passion for mentoring the next generation of chefs with the skills passed down from culinary legends. By 29, he was leading the kitchen at L’Espadon at the Ritz Paris, where he earned two Michelin stars, a feat he replicated at L’Auberge du Jeu de Paume in Chantilly. His ambition soared at Château de la Chèvre d’Or in Èze, securing two Michelin stars annually over eight years for the restaurant.

On May 20, 2024, Faye will bring his extraordinary talents back to Paris and the illustrious realm of Le Bristol, promising a future of exquisite and innovative flavors.

Luca Allegri, CEO of Le Bristol Paris, shares, “I am delighted to welcome Arnaud Faye to our big family. His values and desires align with our own, which is why I am confident Arnaud is the ideal fit to continue the art of excellence cherished by Le Bristol. He will bring a fresh perspective and new vision, which we appreciate because it adds to the charm and spirit of our Maison.”

The Le Bristol Paris team is eagerly anticipating Faye’s arrival and the opportunity to continue the legacy of this almost century-old Palace.
