Lieutenant Governor of J&K inaugurated the ‘Bangus Adventure Festival’

On September 10 th , Shri Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of J&K, inaugurated the ‘Bangus Adventure Festival’, in the Kupwara district located in North Kashmir.

He welcomed the visiting tourists to Jammu and Kashmir in his addressal. He said that they breath by the motto of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’, which reverberates in their culture as well. He also added that he hopes that all will take memorable memories with them if they visit this lovely Bangus valley which has come up as
the best remote destination, he said.

In J&K, many offbeat destinations like Bangus are perfect escape for travellers who are looking for easy adventures and charming experiences. Staring right from adventure, pilgrimage, gorgeous cuisine, and old-style handicrafts to tranquil mountains, Jammu Kashmir provides everything to travellers.

The festival will encourage tribal culture and act as a platform for the artisans of the local place to display traditional arts and crafts. Locals praised this measure adopted by the Tourism department as these events that will improve tourism in North Kashmir.
