Local Explorer sign agreement to make an app

Local Explorers, a well-known creator of mobile loyalty apps for tourism and hospitality has recently signed an agreement to make a mobile passport app for Ohio Wines. The app will power the digital refresh of their famous Ohio Wines Visitor Incentive Program, which permitted wine lovers to gather coded tickets while taking part in Ohio wineries and grab points towards swag and other prizes for visiting new wineries as well as revisiting the old ones.

Since its launch in 2013, the Ohio Wines VIP has been a major success however, Ohio Wines, the state-aided society that always talks about and promote Ohio’s grape cultivators and wine producers, considers the app as providing even greater chance when it comes to the growth of the program.

Christy Eckstein, the director of marketing for the Ohio Department of Agriculture, said that they have around 23,000 members from 39 different states. But they’re transitioning out of the tickets and require to draw greater number of the Gen Z or a younger demographic.
