The Lockwood Hotel is thrilled to announce the appointment of David Beaudoin as its new General Manager. With a dedicated career in the hospitality industry in New England, David, an experienced hotel professional, brings a wealth of expertise to the Lockwood Hotel.

In his new role, David will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day hotel operations, guiding the team in achieving operational excellence, and enhancing guest experiences. Leveraging his proven track record in revenue management and cost-effective strategies, David aims to elevate the hotel’s financial performance while upholding a commitment to exceptional service. His leadership is poised to inspire the Lockwood Hotel team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in the heart of Maine’s burgeoning hospitality scene.

David has ascended through leadership roles in hotel operations and management, overseeing boutique establishments such as Boothbay Harbor Inn, Red Jacket Mountain View Resort, and larger properties with casinos like Hollywood Casino Hotel. His most recent position was with Olympia Hotel Management in Portland, Maine. As a lifelong Maine resident and a perfect fit for the art-rich Waterville community, David is not only a seasoned professional but also an avid painter who enjoys the vibrant world of art.

Opened in 2022, Lockwood Hotel, developed by Coby College and managed by Charlestowne Hotels, stands as the first boutique hotel experience in downtown Waterville in over a century. Positioned on Waterville’s revived Main Street, the hotel offers well-appointed accommodations and features the esteemed restaurant, Front & Main, providing a unique home base for exploring the state’s unexpected treasures.
