Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center unveils its largest Arlington, TX property, setting new luxury and hospitality standards in North Texas.
Today marks the grand unveiling of the Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center by Loews Hotels & Co, a direct subsidiary of Loews Corporation. This property is not only the second but also the most expansive Loews establishment in Arlington, Texas, setting a pioneering standard for luxury and hospitality in North Texas.
Situated in the heart of the nation’s leading sports and entertainment district, the Loews Arlington Hotel is a cutting-edge venue for both large-scale gatherings and leisure stays, appealing to a broad audience from large groups to families seeking an exceptional resort experience. Perfectly positioned between Dallas and Fort Worth, and a mere 10-minute journey from DFW International Airport, this 21-floor resort is home to 888 lavish guest rooms and suites, all designed with a contemporary, upscale flair.
Nestled amidst two renowned sports venues – Globe Life Field and AT&T Stadium, the home grounds for the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys respectively – the hotel boasts a prime location. It also offers seamless access to the newly inaugurated Arlington Convention Center, operated by Loews Hotels & Co, alongside the adjacent 300-room Live! By Loews Hotel. The Loews Arlington Hotel stands out as a hallmark destination, featuring an astonishing 266,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor spaces for gatherings. From its vast Event Lawn to the largest hotel ballroom in North Texas spanning 51,000 square feet, the venue promises unparalleled service and unforgettable events, catering to as many as 5,000 attendees.
Dining at the Loews Arlington Hotel is an adventure in itself, with five novel restaurants and lounges. Among them is Farena, an Italian eatery with a flair for dramatic, with its dual wood-fired pizza ovens and an on-site Pasta Lab crafting fresh pasta daily.

The dining journey continues with Veranda, Farena’s outdoor counterpart; Tomar El Sol, a vibrant poolside bar; Railbird, a boutique market and café; and a cozy lobby bar and lounge. Set to open in the summer of 2024, Soy Cowboy will introduce a pan-Asian twist to the lineup, courtesy of Berg Hospitality.

This launch is a significant milestone in the expansion of Arlington’s Entertainment District, following the success of Texas Live!, Live! by Loews – Arlington, and the Globe Life Field.

In celebration of this momentous occasion, Loews commissioned a unique glass sculpture from Arlington’s own Justin Ginsberg, a celebrated artist and educator at the University of Texas at Arlington. His piece, “Loews Loves Arlington,” symbolizes the hotel’s affection for the city, represented by an infinity heart, and is permanently exhibited in the Loews Arlington lobby library.
The architectural and interior designs were the collaborative effort of HKS and Looney & Associates, while the construction was led by JE Dunn, with Arlington’s Con-Real and Nehmer also contributing to the project’s development.
