Luo Yunxi Honored as China-Thailand Cultural Ambassador

Luo Yunxi, the well-liked celebrity in China with over 28 million followers, was formally accepted into the esteemed ‘Friends of Thailand’ initiative by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and the Thailand Privilege Card on November 4, 2023, in a lavish ceremony held in Bangkok. Yunxi was given the “Friends of Thailand” privilege card and named the “China-Thailand Cultural Friendship Ambassador,” indicating his contribution to improving Thailand’s reputation as a travel destination.

The honor of giving Yunxi the privilege card was conveyed by Mr. Chattan Kunjara Na Ayudhya, TAT Deputy Governor for International Marketing, who anticipated that his fan base across the world would hear about his adventures in Thailand.

Yunxi benefits from a five-year multiple entrance renewal visa, airport assistance, immigration fast track, airport lounge access, and short-distance limousine service as a member of the exclusive ‘Friends of Thailand’ project. Extra benefits include exclusive savings from a variety of partners in dining, hotels, resorts, spas, shopping, and health and wellbeing.

The president of the Thailand Privilege Card, Mr. ManataseAnnawat, underlined the dedication to marketing Thailand and drawing wealthy travelers in line with the government’s sustainable tourism development objectives.

By strengthening the cultural relations between China and Thailand, this acknowledgment not only confirms Yunxi’s position as a cultural ambassador but also promotes appreciation and understanding between the two countries.
