M.R. Synrem Assumes Role as Managing Director at ITDC

Sh. M.R. Synrem, a seasoned IAS officer from the 2002 Batch of the Assam-Meghalaya Cadre, has taken on the role of Managing Director at India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC). He has assumed this position alongside his current roles as Joint Secretary and Additional Director General at the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

Sh. Synrem has previously held positions as CEO of Megha Health Insurance Scheme in
Meghalaya, Mission Director of the Meghalaya State National Health Mission, and Secretary in the Health & Family Welfare Department.

Over the course of more than two decades, he has proven to have remarkable administrative expertise by leading projects, schemes, and initiatives in his parent cadre’s Information Technology & Communications Department, Transport Department, Urban Affairs Department, etc.
