Mad Arts, a dynamic fusion of technology and creativity, is set to broaden its innovative hub and gallery area, officially welcoming the public on January 24, 2024. The expansion offers the South Florida community an exclusive first look at Mad Arts during IGNITE Broward, a complimentary festival of art and illumination from January 24 – 28, 2024, in partnership with the Broward County Cultural Division.

“Our expansion not only enhances our physical premises but also enriches our exhibition offerings, marking a significant stride in our journey at the confluence of art and tech,” expressed Marc Aptakin, Executive Director. “We are excited to usher our guests into a revolutionary museum encounter. This growth allows Mad Arts to host a greater number of artists, broaden our educational initiatives, and heighten our use of cutting-edge technology to magnify narratives, which lies at the heart of our ethos.”

Embracing the World of Mad Arts

Upon entry, visitors will encounter a uniquely crafted lobby by the innovative team at MadLabs, reflecting the technological artistry that defines the gallery’s exhibits. Once officially open, Mad Arts will feature a ticketed entry, operating six days a week. Tickets are available online or at the lobby, where guests will also find details about the current exhibits. Enhancing visitor engagement, information about the displayed art will be accessible through a special wristband, offering guests an interactive experience or the freedom to explore Mad Arts independently.

In addition to its permanent collection, Mad Arts will present an extensive array of events throughout the year, including musical performances, lectures, and educational workshops. The MadLabs Academy embodies the organization’s dedication to art, technology, and accessible innovation.
